Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 6th! Let’s plan to walk to school or walk to your school bus stop! Here’s how you can participate:

• Talk to your parents, your neighbors, and your friends.
• Make a plan of where and when to meet.
• If you can’t just walk directly to school and want to join a walking school bus group, there will be one starting at the white gazebo at Settlement Park & Willow Lake on Carl Sandburg Road. We will depart the gazebo at 8am and walk down Carl Sandburg to Bell-Graham School – it’s about 0.7 miles to school.

Included is a print out you can use to organize your own walking school bus.

Consider writing down what time and where you will meet, and who you will walk with to school. Have Fun!
